🏡 Mesa Homeowners Card

I recently got the Mesa Homeowners Card to start earning points on our mortgage. However, the perks and 3x bonus earning categories are so amazing (especially for no annual fee card) that the card could even make sense for some without a mortgage. Note: the Mesa application page is only available in the US, so if you're traveling, you'll need to use a VPN to access it.

My Take
I'm a huge fan of the Mesa Card for a few reasons.
- As a homeowner, I've never had a way to earn points on our mortgage, so I'm very excited to start doing that!
- I don't currently have any cards with elevated earnings on home improvement, property taxes, home insurance or daycare, so I'm very excited to have a way to maximize those categories.
- The transfer partner list isn't huge, but with Air Canada Aeroplan, Finnair Avios and SAS Eurobonus, I'm certain I'll be able to get good value from my Mesa Points.
That said there are two main drawbacks to the card. First, there's no welcome bonus, which normally would be a deal breaker, but I don't have any other cards that easily generate as many as 100k points a year without needing to spend that much. Second, I don't love having to make sure I spend $1,000/mo to continue earning points on my mortgage. That said, neither of these drawbacks were enough to hold me back from getting the card, so I'm fully on board and excited to start racking up Mesa Points.
If you want to signup and get a free 5,000 points when you do, my referral link is here or you can signup with the promo code FCRGNB.
